The origins of QueryDesk

It didn’t start in a boardroom. It started out of frustration. 

We're a team of developers, engineers, and product thinkers who've experienced the pain of database operations firsthand. Our founders spent years in engineering teams where 'getting the data' was the hardest part of the job. 

We saw how something as “simple” as database updates and queries could grind teams to a halt - developers losing hours of flow to interruptions or credential-chasing, DevOps teams buried in access tickets, and compliance teams manually battling the security risks of direct, unaudited access. 

Like you, our responsibilities for delivery timelines, uptime, security, compliance, and cost were met with fragmented tools, problematic access, manual workarounds, and systems held together with duct tape. We constantly had to choose between speed vs. safety, access vs. control, and delivery vs. risk. 

We set out to build something better.
